Sake kasu (lees) is the byproduct that is left after the sake is pressed. It is extremely nutritious and high in amino acids. It is commonly used in Japan for marinating fish and making tsukemono (pickles).
Only available for brewery pick-up.
*Please note, slight natural discoloration and variation is normal. Due to the koji we use, the color is darker than other kasu.
